To leverage integrated exercises and holistic resources to help families and singles achieve mindfulness in their everyday lives while providing accessible work opportunities for moms. Their goal is to empower parents and individuals to trust their intuition and make informed decisions about their health and wellness.

OUR ORIGIN STORY

It all started with a feeling. A sense of peace, strength, and belonging that lived deep in her body, even before she had the words to name it. Long before she became a trainer, a competitor, a mother, or a founder, Alexandra carried the spark of Inner Light Studio inside her. Raised by a legacy of bodybuilders, surgeons, and healers, fitness wasn’t just a practice. It was a birthright. Her childhood was spent in the kids’ club of a small gym in Miami, surrounded by generations of strong, supportive people who treated movement as medicine and community as a way of life.

But even with roots that ran deep, Alexandra still had to find her own way. When she moved to Austin to study music journalism, she drifted from the gym world she knew. Socially anxious and unsure of where she fit in, she found solace not in parties, but on the stair master, books in hand. That quiet search led her to an unexpected calling. What began as casual workouts with friends soon turned into a career in personal training and an entry into the world of competitive bodybuilding. Over the course of 12 shows and seven years, she discovered a deeper sense of self. She didn’t just build her body. She built her confidence, her resilience, and her mission.

That mission expanded as her awareness did. After discovering guided meditation and its power to enhance performance and calm the mind, Alexandra began weaving breathwork, mindfulness, and intentional movement into her own training. She studied the science behind the flow state, the unique mind-body alignment that boosts performance, reduces anxiety, and increases emotional clarity. She realized this was the secret missing from traditional gyms. It wasn’t just about the grind. It was about the connection. And it was that connection she felt called to bring to others.

Motherhood cracked her open. After moving to Sarasota with her husband and giving birth to their daughter, Alexandra experienced the joy and the deep isolation that often comes with becoming a parent. The communities she once had disappeared, replaced with a longing for a space where both healing and growth could happen. The big-box gyms didn’t understand the needs of real people with full lives. She knew there had to be a better way. Inner Light Studio was born from that knowing.

Today, Inner Light Studio is her life’s work made visible. It's a sanctuary for movement, mindfulness, and community. It is designed to meet people where they are and help them grow. Every element, from the lighting to the class size to the music and coaching, is crafted to activate presence, elevate performance, and restore balance. Alexandra’s mission is to help others find what she found: a way to feel at home in your body and empowered in your life.

This is fitness that doesn’t just change how you look. It transforms how you live. And it all begins with one choice: to follow the light within.
